New Ideas!!!!

Wow! Today I subbed in the 5th and 6th grades and did some classroom observations.  It is true, you can get a lot of fresh and new ideas from other teachers.  Just watching three or four different teachers was inspiring.  They guided and taught their classes each in a different manner and each did a great job.  I can't wait to try some of their techniques with my own class! 

A day in 6th grade

Today I was asked to substitute teach in the 6th grade.  Wow, what a day!!!!  I usually sub in 7th - 12th grades, so these preteen children were a whole different breed of students, but at the end of the day I felt very rewarded for being able to spend some time with these students and very tired. Different problems and different rewards come with each age group of students.  I can't wait to see where they put me next!!!!
